It’s soon that time of year again…for the annual Ranchos Gravel Challenge! This year we switched to Black Canyon road going up Black Mountain in Pamo Valley outside of Ramona. We also moved it back a month to hopefully have slightly cooler conditions. This should be a really enjoyable gravel ride on a dirt road with some nice views along the way. The Time Trial (TT) will start in Ramona at Ramona Wellfield Community Park and roll out of town and onto the fire road up the mountain. After the event you’ll be able to enjoy a cool down in the park with a BBQ of burgers and hot dogs, chips and sodas. What: This is a 29.7 mile time trial style ‘out and back’ dirt road/gravel ride with 2835’ of climbing
When: October 20th, 2019 starting @ 8am in 1 minute intervals
Staging Area: Ramona Wellfield Community Park, 434 Aqua Ln, Ramona, CA 92065
Entry Fee: $40 online or $50 day of the race – Free BBQ following the event.
